St. John’s Community Garden

We are proud to announce a new community garden!

We have taken a small portion of the lawn of Saint John's Episcopal Church to create "Saint John's Garden for the Community".  Our mission is to use the output of this garden to grow fresh produce that will be donated to local food pantries which serve the food insecure.   

We have two very simple goals; the first is to raise 1000 pounds of food each year and the second is to include the entire community in this effort, not just the people of Saint John's.  Our first year, 2025, we grew over 1,200 pounds of produce that was donated!

Garden work sessions happen weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:30am.

We would also like to thank Episcopal Church Services and the Outreach Committee of Saint John's for providing the funds to build this garden.
