Karen Feeny, Co-Music Director

Karen Feeney started playing piano in church at 7 years old, accompanying her mom's vocal solos and the junior choir. Later, she attended Susquehanna University, where she received a merit scholarship and earned a bachelor of music in applied piano performance. She was also organist for touring and recording university choirs. Karen has held organist and choir director positions throughout Monmouth County since age 15. Currently, in addition to her half-time position at St. John's, she is Conductor for the Royale Orchestra and Shore Concerts. She also has conducted Phantom of the Opera at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia.

Karen also holds an MBA in Finance from Monmouth University and designations as Certified Financial Planner Practitioner (tm) and received Certified Investment Analyst designation(tm)  from the Wharton School of Business. A deacon and former Sunday school teacher at her home church, Colts Reformed Church, Karen also sits on the Board of Benefits Services of the Reformed Church of America and is Vice President of the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge, NJ, where she also serves on the investment committee.
